What £75 covers
The breakages that take most WordPress sites down
If your site has gone down with one of these, it's exactly what the £75 emergency fix is for.
The white screen of death
A blank page where your site used to be, on the front end or in wp-admin.
"There has been a critical error"
The generic WordPress error page with no detail about what broke.
Error establishing a database connection
The site cannot reach its database and nothing loads.
A broken update
WordPress, a plugin or a theme updated and took the site down with it.
Locked out of wp-admin
You cannot log in, or the dashboard loads blank or broken.
The design has fallen apart
A theme reverted, styling vanished, or the layout is suddenly broken.
Images and media not loading
Broken image icons, missing uploads, or 404s on media files.
Redirect loops and error pages
"Too many redirects", 500s, or pages that will not resolve.
Stuck in maintenance mode
The "briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance" message will not clear.

Root cause

Harden
A short written health check with the fix, the cause, and the simple steps to stop it happening again.
Who you're calling
Hi, I'm James
I'm a WordPress developer working from Battersea in London, and I've been building and fixing small business websites since 2013.
When your site goes down it costs you enquiries, sales and trust, so my job is simple: get it back online quickly and tell you plainly what went wrong. You speak to me directly, the person doing the work, from the first call to the fix.
I'm fully insured, VAT registered, and I only take the fee once your site is working again.

Questions
Straight answers before you call
Does the £75 include VAT?
Yes. It is £62.50 plus £12.50 VAT, so £75 all in. No deposit and no hidden extras.
What if you cannot fix it?
Then you pay nothing. That is the no fix, no fee promise. You still get a plain-English diagnosis of what is wrong and what your options are.
How fast will you respond?
During UK business hours I aim to be on the phone with you within the hour, and most common breakages are fixed the same day. Get in touch and I will tell you honestly when I can start.
My site has been hacked. Can you help?
Malware and hacked sites are a different, larger job than a £75 fix, so they are quoted separately. Call me and I will scope it and give you a clear price before any work starts.
What does the £75 actually cover?
A free initial call, priority response, and up to two hours of focused work to get a broken site back online, plus a short written health check. If it needs more than that, I will tell you before doing anything and agree the cost with you first.
How do I pay?
Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or bank transfer. Payment is due once the site is back up.
Do you work with my host and setup?
Yes. I work across all the common UK and international hosts and standard WordPress setups. I will let you know what access I need to get started.
Do you offer ongoing support after the fix?
If you would rather not be caught out again, I run monthly WordPress care plans from £97 that cover updates, backups, monitoring and priority support. Ask me about it on the call.
Site down right now?
Pick up the phone. The initial call is free, and you only pay the £75 once your site is back online.
